Exploring Art Therapy Group

Exploring Art Therapy Group

Curious about how creativity can support your mental and emotional well-being? This four-session group is designed to introduce you to the basics of art therapy in a safe, supportive environment. Each session is 75 minutes and includes a grounding activity, guided art-making, and time for reflection and optional sharing. No art experience is required—just a willingness to explore.

What to Expect:

  • A calm, welcoming space to slow down and create

  • Simple art materials and prompts to help you express yourself

  • Guidance from a trauma-informed art therapist

  • The freedom to share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with

Themes We’ll Explore:

  1. What Is Creativity? Understanding creative expression and what it means for you

  2. How Can Creativity Help Us Grow? Using art as a tool for self-awareness and resilience

  3. Creativity and Connection Exploring how art can strengthen connection—to self and others

  4. Closing & Reflection A recap session to look back on what you’ve learned and carry it forward

Come to one session or all four—each one stands on its own, but together they create a meaningful experience.
